When we decided to expand, we elected to get 250GB hard drives for the new PCs at the ground floor. This is due to the fact that game installation requirements are getting bigger by the minute. Some online games and even PC games can reach up to 5GB.
But this new game by John Woo – Stranglehold requires a MASSIVE 50 GIG of hard drive space.
Now that’s massive.
I can’t believe there’d be a game like that! Whew!
But let’s not pass judgment just yet. Do check out the screenshot above and you be the judge. The detail is just incredible. I doubt that this game will be in Queens soon… but who knows, di ba?

Ubisoft has released some its games for free but are supported with in-game advertising. Is this the future of gaming?

Meanwhile, Tech In Demand has also posted an article about the pros and cons of releasing games for free with advertising.

Due to several rising costs, especially in the electric bill, we are considering ending our P150.00 for 12 Hours promo.
But don’t worry, our P100 for 6 hours is still valid. If you look around the shops in San Juan, Queens is still among those with the most reasonable rates and faster PCs with faster connections.
In fact, we just got an extra 2MBS Globe DSL line to augment our 2.5MBS PLDT DSL connection. We are now in the process of combining those broadband lines into a single router with a load balancer in the weeks to come. This is to ensure that there is virtaully NO DISRUPTION during your online gaming or Internet use.
We will be announcing the effectivity of the end of the P150 promo.
Thank you for your continued support and patronage for Queens. Do tell us what other promos you would want to see.

Why do players love to play in an Internet Cafe?
Well, first and foremost, gaming is a SOCIAL hobby. Sure, you can play at home by your lonesome. But it will sure be a LOT MORE FUN when playing in a cafe or Internet game shop, like Queens, of course.
Gaming is fun with the shouting and all that trash-talking. Besides, players can go outside and talk strategies about the games all night. Like with Perfect World and RF Online, which is the most played online games here in our shop – our players simply look forward to the next day so that they can meet their friends for another few hours of leveling up or making their guild stronger.
